| Phil Smart: This is Chris Misselbrook and me! I was not in the play but Mick Wright, who was the producer and also involved with the school's Photographic Society, undertook to take some publicity photos. I was also a member and went along as well. None of the other actors were available and MKW suggested that I stand in. I can still remember this series of photos being displayed on the notice board just along from the staff room. Mick Wright was a good teacher and a very nice guy. He was my form master and also taught us English and I credit him with advancing my grasp of the subject significantly having learnt virtually nothing from my previous teacher. It was with great sadness in 1977 that we learnt that Mr Wright had passed away aged 33. | |||
