| Kerry Lewis: I played Stephano the drunken butler and together with my old friend Alan Randall (who sadly died a few years ago) as Trinculo, we provided the comic relief. I remember that I had a pillow to form my large stomach and this tended to slip down during the performance. Shakespeare helpfully provided the line ‘my stomach is not constant’ which obviously got a big laugh! | |||
